Believing that families were often put off by the cost and inconvenience of traditional family portraits, founding member Trevor O'Rourke set up Picturehouse Photography - The Mobile Studio Company. A company with a difference, Picturehouse Photography offers busy families the choice of being photographed in the comfort of their own home. On an agreed day, the mobile studio is set up in the family home where everybody, especially children, are more relaxed making it easier to capture everybody at their best. 

In October 2008, Picturehouse opened the doors of their modern studio in Rathmines, Dublin 6.
